FIELD NOTE · 22 AUG 2026 · ULAANBAATAR
Mongolia's motocross season is decided. The official results are verified on Injective.
On 22 August, Mongolian Sports Corporation closed the 2026 MONGOL MX League season. Within about two hours, its official results were verified on a public blockchain. Here is what happened, why a national sports organization would do this, and how anyone can check.

The finale
Round 5 of the 2026 MONGOL MX League, the season finale, ran on 22 August at MSC: venue, location. In front of MSC: attendance or viewership figure, written confirmation only; delete sentence if none, Rider #166, MSC: full name of MSC: team, won both races of the day. MSC: champion line, e.g. "The result confirmed him as the 2026 individual champion; Yamaha Racing Team Mongolia took the team title."
Mongolian Sports Corporation (MSC), the organiser and commercial owner of the League, published the official results that evening, as it does after every round. MSC: link to the official results post

What happened next
Within about two hours of publication, those official results were verified on Injective, a public blockchain, through LocalTruth.
MSC is the publisher of official results, verified on Injective through LocalTruth. MSC does not operate, sponsor, or endorse any market.
That makes MSC the first national sports organization to have its official results verified on Injective. As far as we know, it is also the first time a national sports championship's official results have been anchored to a public blockchain by the organiser itself, hashed and signed from its own wallet on the day of the event rather than relayed by a data vendor or oracle. FLAG: verified 2 Sep, moderate confidence; closest precedent = World Chess on Algorand 2020 (online ratings, not a national championship). Never widen to "first sports organisation" or "first official results on-chain".
Nothing about MSC's process changed. MSC compiled its results the way it always has and published them where its fans already look for them. The difference is what happens after publication: anyone, anywhere, can now confirm that the results file in front of them is the one MSC actually released.
Our results are the product. Verifying them publicly protects our riders, our sponsors and our fans, and it puts Mongolian motorsport on infrastructure the rest of the world can build on.

Why a sports organization would do this
A championship's results are its product. Standings decide titles, prize money, sponsor bonuses, and who gets picked next season. Every downstream use, from a fan site to a statistics service to a game, relies on an accurate copy of the official record.
Today that trust is informal. A screenshot circulates, a spreadsheet gets forwarded, a number gets retyped. If two versions disagree, there is no quick way to settle which one is real.
Verification fixes that at the source. MSC publishes once and attests once. Everyone else can check against that attestation rather than against each other.
MSC: quote from Bat-Erdene Khosbayar, Founder and CEO, MSC. Offered draft: "Our results are the product. Verifying them publicly protects our riders, our sponsors and our fans, and it puts Mongolian motorsport on infrastructure the rest of the world can build on."

How it works
- MSC publishes the official results file. Same file, same channels, same timing as before.
- The file is fingerprinted. A cryptographic hash is computed from the file. The hash identifies the exact file but reveals nothing about its contents. No rider names, no personal data, and no race data go on-chain. Only the fingerprint does.
- MSC attests the fingerprint on Injective. MSC signs the attestation from its own wallet and submits it to LocalTruth's attestation contract. The contract is immutable.
- Anyone can verify. Take the official file, compute its hash, and compare it against the public record at explorer.localtruth.xyz. The explorer is available in Mongolian and English. If the fingerprints match, the file is authentic.
There is no intermediary between MSC and the chain. LocalTruth provides the contract and the tooling. MSC holds the keys and makes the attestation.
05
What verified results unlock
Once the official record is verifiable, other things can be built on it without anyone having to trust a middleman.
A fan prediction game is the obvious first example. A question like "Will Rider #166 win Race A?" can be answered against the attested result the moment it lands, with no human intervention and no argument about which results file is the real one.
Games are one example. The same verified record can feed live standings, media graphics, historical databases, and fantasy formats, all reading from a single source that nobody has to take on faith.

What's next
MSC: forward-looking paragraph. Options: MSC's 2027 calendar, other MSC disciplines or events, or a general "every official MSC result from here on" commitment. No Round 6/7. Delete the section if MSC has nothing to confirm.
